Jens Alfastsen started as selfemployed in 1986 with a background in diving and salvage.
1986-89 Shore based activities established, a machining shop, and at the same time, a diving company.
1989 Purchased first boat, below 20 GT, for dive support and salvage of light crafts, for Owners and Underwriters.
1993 Purchased first tug over 20 GT, and offering towing/salvage/diving services, and over the years a tug fleet was established.
2005 Purchased floating crane for heavylift operations. Directing the company from tugs to special craft, heavylift, salvage, offshore support, dive support.
2007 Purchase and conversion, special craft multi purpose vessels, later upgraded to DP1/DP2.
2009 By 1 January Kim Alfastsen became the sole owner of the company in a generational handover, and Jens Alfastsen consequently was employed as office manager, in charge of projects and daily running, with captain Kim Alfastsen working and projecting at sea, in charge as salvage and heavylift master.
